Cuando estábamos en NY nos invitaron a ver un nuevo musical off-Broadway para niños! En una calurosa tarde en la gran manzana, llegamos al Teatro Davenport a a ver Endangered The Musical.
Endangered es la historia de un niño vlogero (Theo Errig) que gracias a la super tormenta “Beyonce” queda atrapado en un zoológico de Nueva York. El niño y los animales que encuentra, tienen que aprender a comunicarse y organizarse para poder salir del zoológico y sobrevivir.
La obra, que dura 70 minutos, es llamada el primer “Eco-Musical” ya que se basa en la importancia de cuidar el planeta y respetar a todos quienes viven en él.

No tengo fotos del show porque las instrucciones son claras: guarden cámaras y celulares! Pero el show fue muy entretenido.

Each of the talented, multi-cultural cast members brought their characters (tamarind, skunk, crocodile, crane, cheetah and panda bear) to life with witty dialogue coupled with their respective, uncanny “animalistic” attributes.
Endangered! is Off Broadway’s newest “Must-See”** musical! It’s a rockin’ crockin’, funky monkey, multi-cultural, multi-species musical about a social media Whiz Kid reporter and a group of famous endangered animals from around the globe who must survive an unexpected superstorm.
Stranded at the Zoo when Superstorm Beyoncé hits New York City, the Kid and the animals must quickly learn to communicate and get along with each other. When they uncover a natural, mutual love and respect, they discover that by working together they can build a bridge – to reach Higher Ground! With live updates from ZNN – the Zoological News Network – as well as S.O.S. selfies from the field, old and new media alike are turned on and tuned in to follow the fate of our endangered heroes.
